So it’s been 5 years since I last posted … sheesh. In reviewing those initial posts from 2015, made some slight revisions, and I actually did accomplish what I originally set out to do … paint for 100 days in a row. Vaguely recall getting quite a few projects rolling along, as examples … the 40mm AWI , the 28mm Greek Hoplites, and some of the 28mm Persians. I certainly have been enjoying the hobby since then, although haven’t focused on doing anything with this log. So it is time to get back to it, and see how it could move forward from here.

Welcome to … The Meandering GamesPoet!
This is my first attempt at creating my own website. I plan to make posts regarding my hobbies and travels thru life.
I had been considering something like this for awhile. Then the idea of wanting to make an attempt at doing something for 100 days in a row flowed into my life, and I decided that it could be good to give a go to a “100 Days of Painting” effort, and recording at least some of it on a log.
One of my hobbies is painting and playing games with military miniatures. For a good length of time I’ve been buying figures for various eras in history, and doing various modeling and painting projects for this. These hobby projects are in various stages of development, and I’m thinking that this could help move some of them along with a concerted commitment of time and effort being made to accomplish them.
Not sure how all of this will move forward, yet off we go …
